Advocate for women progression in professional services
Zohra is an ACCA member and currently works as the Finance Manager for two institutes at University College London (UCL), her role entails dealing with the institutes’ strategic finances.
She has recently completed her MSc in Professional Accountancy; joint programme by ACCA and University of London, teaching direction by UCL School of Management. She has also secured a place on Cambridge Rising Women Leaders programme aimed at high potential women seeking to step in leadership roles and currently serves as the Chair of Finance, Audit and Risk Committee at Greenwich Students’ Union.
Zohra has a keen interest to deepen her understanding of leadership training, specifically for women, and as such she undertook her MSc research project on a new business venture specialising in delivering professional and bespoke training programmes, aimed at corporate clients and individuals. This included five year financial projections, detailed industry analysis, market analysis and market strategy.
Zohra was recently selected as one of the speakers at the Women in Finance Summit 2020, where she appeared with high-calibre of speakers sharing her view on ‘What works and what doesn’t for the future leaders?’
