Tawana Tannock

Human rights activist, mother, daughter and corporate managing director

Tawana Tannock, former chairperson for the Human Rights Commission of Bermuda, was recognized as one of the 10 most fascinating people in the country in 2016.  

She was responsible for adjudicating complaints of discrimination and acting as an educator and advocate in the promotion and protection of human rights.

Tawana is a former  high school teacher, probation officer, Crown counsel, and private sector lawyer.
