Founded InnovFin, a consulting and advisory firm helping Finance companies leverage innovative technologies, starting with Blockchain, to cut costs, generate revenues and access financing.

In 2018, Othalia founded The Innovative Financier (TIF), an information hub strong of 500+ members. TIF builds the future of work by helping individuals identify opportunities in the new digital economy. TIF raised funds for charities such as: Salvation Army, PAWS and Film4Peace. TIF engages it’s community through a blockchain powered Loyalty Points Platform.

Part of the Executive team of BlockchainHub, an NGO within York University providing education, research and commercialization of Start-Ups. Here she designs and manages successful commercialization and educational programs, and grew the community to 3,500+ members.

In 2018, Othalia launched first Blockchain Recruitment Day in Canada with 250 selected applicants, and sponsors such as KPMG, IBM, Toda and Skrumble.

Appeared in Globe & Mail and Coinsquare as one of the Women in Blockchain disrupting the gender imbalance status quo in the industry.

Before discovering a passion for Blockchain, worked internationally for Fortune 500 investment management firms, developing an expertise in investment performance analytics and reporting.

Speak at interviews, conferences and to the media to advance Blockchain adoption.
