Lisa worked as a midwife. for over 20 years. An unexpected twist of fate meant Lisa had to leave her calling as a midwife and find a new career and ultimately a purpose.
She is now known as The Story Midwife and leads a growing tribe of avid storytellers who gather for live and virtual events. She coaches leaders globally to harness the power of business storytelling as well as discover how to communicate with influence.
Lisa is the author of Speaking Savvy: The Art of Speaking and Storytelling, Stories From The Heart: Tales of Inspiration, Stories From The Heart: Tales of Courage and Tales of Change.
As a speaker, Lisa brings a lifetime of stories and an engaging and dynamic delivery style which will help the audience to recognise the story in themselves. Lisa can offer a facilitated storytelling session which will encourage women to share their stories in a structured, safe and supportive way.
