Mikaela and Eliza Greene

Surfing sisters Mikaela and Eliza Greene are ranked among the world’s top female surfers

The sisters from Margaret River in Western Australia started surfing when they were three and now compete around the world aiming to regain full status on the WST in 2020.

Older sister Mikaela has had a decorated career to date with multiple titles including 2019 WCT Margaret River Pro Wildcard Champion, 2018 WQS 1500 Tenerife Pro Champion, 2017 WQS 1500 Casablanca Pro Champion and 2016 Australasian Champion.

Younger sister Eliza has also made a strong debut in the water securing 4th place at the 2017 WQS 1000 Cloud 9 Pro and gaining a wildcard spot in the 2019 WCT Margaret River Pro.

In a testament to their characters, the girls made the decision to hop out of the water in 2019 to take part in Channel 7’s hit rating show House Rules, where they put down their boards and picked up the power tools renovating other contestants homes over Australia in return for getting their Mum’s home which was left unfinished and in desperate need of some TLC, renovated. The Season 7 instalment of House Rules saw the sisters become household names with an average of 1 million viewers tuning in to the show each week.

Following their success on the show, Mikaela and Eliza have now set their sights back on their surfing careers and have returned to full training with the goal of becoming the first sisters to qualify for the World Championship Tour. Both girls agree their favourite possession is their passport which is their ticket to see the world with their boards under arm every step of the way!
