Professional skateboarder who has travelled the world competing in elite skateboarding competitions
She has long been challenging gender norms and inequality and becoming a role model for young girls.
When Aimee started skating, she wasn't welcomed to the skatepark which was, at the time, a male-only domain. But after studying and practicing the key skills Aimee proved to be a natural, even if the boys didn't like it!
Aimee started skating competitively at 14, and since then has become a mentor and inspiration to many more young girls who are now taking up the sport.
With skateboarding set to become at Olympic in 2020, Aimee has now set her focus firmly on qualifying for Tokyo.
