Laura Sgroi is an all-around human connector. Always aiming for transparency, she defies her vulnerability to create content of substance that her multi-cultural audience can relate to and engage with in the most authentic, interesting, and informative way, and this is how she has gained and kept the trust and loyalty of a diverse and supportive community, online and offline.

Laura Sgroi is a certified coach and speaker who works with individuals and organizations in the US, Canada, and Latin America, and has led workshops for Florida International University, Sony Music Latin, Vital Voices Miami, South Florida Fertility Expo, UP Nicaragua, Artsy Hive, SET Events and Women On Set, among other organizations. Prior to coaching, she enjoyed a sixteen+ year international career in live events, television production, and corporate communications. Her credits include Guns N’ Roses, Santana, Ricky Martin, Viacom, Univision, Sony Music, Billboard, and the National Association of Television Program Executives (NAPTE). Laura holds an MA in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from Universitat de Barcelona, a BA in Marketing from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, and a Professional Coach Certificate from the University of Miami. Her writing has been published in Glamour Mexico, Glamour Latin America, and Motherly, as well as on her website and blog.  

Laura has dedicated her thirties to researching what happens when we become a thirtysomething, her book "In Our Thirties: Insights and Expert Advice for This Decade and Beyond", released on Amazon on July 16, 2020 and it ranked in the Top 3 of various Amazon Hot New Releases lists upon launch, including Hispanic and Latino Biographies and Memoirs. "In Our Thirties" is an innovative guide to embracing the 30+ life and devoting ourselves to what matters most.  Laura acts as a confidant, inspiring a deeper, more mindful journey, helping those who dreaded their thirties to see this remarkable decade of life as a time of self-discovery, growth, and wisdom. Laura shares this message through her platform In Our Thirties, which started as a blog, evolved into an ever growing community, and became a book. She is a natural fertility success story against great odds, who you can often find sharing her fertility journey and tips as a message of hope.

A collector of stories born and raised in the Dominican Republic, she is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, and now lives in Miami, Florida with her husband Claudio and cheerful preschooler son Luca.

Laura at 38 belongs and speaks to the nation’s largest living adult generation and the largest generation in the US labor force.* She is a multi-passionate & creative communications professional with diverse work experience and an excellent track record. She has had the privilege of working with large and heterogeneous groups in multicultural environments for almost two decades, that has helped her develop strong communications and most importantly, she has managed to gain the trust of countless clients and colleagues.
