Belinda Clemmensen

Founder of the Women's Leadership Intensive

A change-maker herself, Belinda believes women are not only capable of changing the world, but that we will be a driving force in making it happen.  When we look out at the world, we see that change is needed and we can help.

With 25 years of experience Belinda understands how to help leaders uncover, and step into, their full potential and connect to that place of purpose where one's unique strengths meet a need in the world and serve others.

This passionate belief is what drove her as a leadership development professional and led her to build the Women's Leadership Intensive (WLI); with the mission to inspire, empower, support, and equip women to lead the change the world needs.

Being a relentless champion of purpose-driven leaders is at her core. In addition to founding WLI, she is a proud co-founder of the Leader Coach Intensive, a unique program that builds world-class coaches – Tomorrow’s Leaders Today.

About IWD 2021:

Engage your organization in an interactive one-hour workshop to celebrate the progress women have made, get clear on the road left to travel and make 2021 a year of moving the needle on gender equity.

The research is clear, organizations that promote gender equity and women in leadership:

• Increase productivity and have above average profitability.
• Improve culture & engagement.
• Demonstrate more innovative, creative and inclusive
decision-making.

During this session we will:

Define realistic optimism and why holding the tension of both is a mindset that will move us towards greater equity.

Explore both the current state of gender equity in Canada (realism) and the progress made and positive potential for change (optimism).

Have meaningful conversations, build relationships and make personal connections to how equity makes organizations better for us all.

Please note that this is an interactive session rather than a speech or keynote.  We believe that not only is it inherently feminist to include rather than tell, but also that people learn more when they are actively engaged, asked the right questions and invited to bring their own ideas and experiences to the table.  This virtual session includes activities, dialogue, presentation and breakout conversations.
