This International Women’s Day is the sixth that Theramex has participated in since our company's inception in 2018.

Our work takes us across the evolving needs of women as they move through different stages in their lives. From contraception to fertility, menopause to osteoporosis, women are our patients and our passion.

Our involvement in International Women’s Day helps us to take a few moments to remember that our work is more of a duty than a job, and we are working to improve the lives of women across the globe.

International Women’s Day is the fulcrum of Theramex’s Corporate Social Responsibility as well as a focus for some of our employee engagement initiatives.

Each year we are committed to celebrate and support the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

The IWD 2023 theme, #EmbraceEquity, is especially relevant to us, equity in the workplace is a topic close to my heart.

As a CHRO, a leader and influencer, I believe that it’s critical that we use our platforms to raise awareness and promote fairness and equality in all areas of our lives, including our workplace.

I believe that every employee should have the same opportunities for growth, recognition, and compensation regardless of their race, gender, sexual orientation, or any factor. 

I am committed to using my voice to call out discrimination and to promote a culture which leads to a more equitable and inclusive workplace for all.

At Theramex, a leading pharmaceutical company specialising in women’s health, we work tirelessly to ensure equity for women in their access to healthcare treatments which are appropriate for them.

We are proud to play an active role in the women’s health discussion, raising awareness and breaking down stigma’s surrounding the health issues impacting women at different stages in their life.

Our commitment to ‘helping women to live better lives’ remains constant.

For this year’s International Women’s Day, we are partnering with Woman’s Trust - a specialist mental health charity, providing free counselling and therapy for women who have experienced domestic abuse. I am so proud to be partnering with Woman’s Trust, whose values are strongly aligned to Theramex’s. We will humbly try to do our bit to help these women progress in life and overcome those terrible episodes in their lives.

On International Women’s Day 2023, I pledge to challenge the Theramex leadership team to go further to enhance opportunities for our teams, to challenge unconscious gender bias and inequality.
