Committed to building an inclusive culture

At Carlsberg, we are committed to building an inclusive culture.
We know that progress on DE&I is integral to nurture our purpose-led performance-driven culture, leading to fulfilled employees and improved business results.
Brewing is of course historically male-dominated, so naturally we feel especially responsible to #EmbraceEquity in our industry.
We know we have a significant responsibility to advance our commitment to gender equity and women’s empowerment.
We have been working hard to #EmbraceEquity and break down structural barriers in our organisation.
We have undertaken a critical evaluation of our recruitment process, and people policies.
We are focusing on our listening agenda, with our senior leaders taking part in Candid Conversations; hearing colleagues’ DE&I experiences first-hand. We have invested in Unconscious Bias and Inclusive Leadership training for our top 350 executives.
In 2022, we launched WelcomeYou – our commitment to ensuring Carlsberg is a place where each of us belongs and where we can be at our best.
This year, we are launching a sponsorship programme for women.
A fundamental part of what we do in the DE&I Council is to ensure that the leaders in our organisation take ownership for the DE&I agenda and drive our inclusive culture.
We are still at the beginning of our journey, but we will continue to #EmbraceEquity and to work towards our target of having at least 40% women in senior leadership positions.
