International Women's Day Come and Sing Evensong

We would love you to join us for an International Women's Day Come and Sing Evensong on Sunday 8th March, 5pm, at Prescot Parish Church!
The service is an opportunity to:
- Give thanks to God for the women who have played a formative role in our lives
- Recognise that visibility matters
- Celebrate the journey towards greater equality and acknowledge the work still to be done.
All are welcome to join us in the congregation at 5pm but we are also welcoming singers and clergy to be part of the service.
If you wish to sing as part of the chorus, please arrive in time for the 3pm rehearsal.
The service includes music by Amy Beach, Sarah MacDonald, Joanna Forbes L'Estrange and the premiere of a new anthem by our Choir Director, Abigail Birch-Price, with lyrics by our Rev'd Kimberley Mannings.
All voice parts and abilities welcome!
For clergy and civic dignitaries who will be robing (choir dress for clergy), please meet in the Parish Centre at 4.30pm.
