Fremantle Sailing Club will celebrate International Women’s Day with the return of the Pacer Dash Race in the Club’s Little Pond, an inclusive and community-focused sailing event that highlights and supports women in sport.

The event brings members together for a fun and accessible two-person team race format, with at least one female sailor required per team.

Designed to encourage participation, visibility and leadership for women on the water, the Pacer Dash provides an opportunity for sailors of varying experience levels to compete, connect and celebrate together.

In addition to racing, members and spectators are invited to enjoy live race commentary, food and a relaxed social atmosphere, creating a welcoming environment for the broader Club community to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution of women in sailing.

Through this event, Fremantle Sailing Club in Western Australia aims to promote gender inclusion in sport, recognise the achievements of women within our sailing community and encourage continued participation at all levels.

So, get ready for an exhilarating adventure in the Dinghy Duck Pond! Whether you're a seasoned sailor or a newbie, this is your chance to unleash your inner racer on a Pacer. Enter a 2 person team for the chance at cash and prizes. Or just come watch for the chance to win door prizes and have some delicious food specials.
