​Mark International Women's Day 2026 in Bangor, Wales!

​Join WCVA to celebrate this year’s theme, ‘Give to Gain’. The event will feature:

- ​a short talk on University of South Wales and CBI Wales research into removing barriers for women in the workplace,

- ​a presentation from Fair Treatment for the Women (FTWW) of Wales on how women’s health issues can be barriers for women in the workplace.

- ​panel discussion on how individuals and employers can embrace a ‘lift as you climb’ approach, featuring Bethan Russell Williams, CEO of Mantell Gwynedd, Elliw Jones, Associate at Darwin Gray Solicitors, Isabel Linton, Charity Manager at FTWW and Elen Notley, Head of Engagement for WCVA.

​There will be an opportunity to ask questions of our panel members during a Q&A.

We will also be showcasing some amazing charities working to support Women and girls across Wales and beyond.
