Regina Williams

Self-made speaker from extreme poverty using her story to inspire audiences

As a self-made professional, Regina has defied extraordinary challenges—rising from extreme poverty in Kenya to becoming the first Black female politician in London. With no public funds, no safety net, and no shortcuts, she built her education, career, and business from the ground up through sheer determination and resilience.

From hunger for food in Kenya to hunger while studying in Casablanca—alone, with no family support—Regina turned adversity into motivation. Hunger became her greatest teacher, driving her to work harder, dream bigger, and never give up. Today, she is a recognized leader in IT, project management, and politics, proving that dreams are achievable, no matter where one starts.

Her Journey:

Beyond professional success, Regina’s story is one of resilience and transformation:
- Separated from her first love due to war in North Africa
- Endured the taboo and trauma of circumcision as a young woman
- Completed primary school at 17, defying age barriers in education
- Studied in Casablanca under immense financial struggle
- Arrived in Britain with only $50, three months pregnant, and no family support

Despite these challenges, she refused to give up. Her faith, resilience, and relentless drive helped her break barriers—and now, she is committed to helping others do the same.

Through her book, Blessed Struggles, Regina has shared her lived experiences, proving that success is not about where one begins, but about how determined they are to rise. She believes that struggles are a training ground—if embraced, they can bring out the best in an individual.

Her book became an Amazon Bestseller upon release and earned her the 2024 BEFFTA Best Author Award. Yet, her mission is far from over—she is determined to continue inspiring and uplifting others.
