A The Poet is an award winning spoken word poet who has a passion for things storytelling.

With over 10 years experience in writing and performing poetry. A The Poet has experience in captivating a crowd with her words making people feel seen in her stories.

"Being on stage is my happy place. Where I make eye contact with a audience member as I say a line that resonates with them, there is a spark in their eye. It's moments like that why I write and perform, I want people to feel seen and celebrate." Says A The Poet.

Based in London, A The Poet created and hosts Poetry & Me Live. Where she interviews fellow poets and artists, with the aim to spread the joy of poetry and encourage others to write. Her stage has been used by many performers as a place to perform their poetry for the first time in front of a live audience. A The Poet has performed on many stages including; being the opening act for the Zimbabwean International Women Awards, A featured artist on BBC Words First programme and Headliner at Bush Theatre and more.
