Stela is the founder of Diversalytics, a platform that leverages AI and data analytics to help organizations build truly inclusive workplaces by transforming Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts into strategic business insights.
By integrating gender equality regulations, ethical AI, and advanced analytics, she provides organizations with actionable data to move beyond compliance and drive meaningful change.
With over 15 years of international experience, Stela specializes in developing and implementing strategies that align with organizational goals and comply with regional regulations.
Stela lived in the Middle East for almost 10 years, where she began her volunteer work in women’s empowerment and fighting bias. Although passionate about engines and computers from an early age, she pursued Psychology, obtaining a Master at the UCM in Madrid. Her interest in technology continued to grow, leading her to work for a company at the forefront of edge cloud and blockchain.
While working in tech, she experienced what it meant to be the only woman in the room and decided to take action. She joined a PhD in Gender Studies, where she uncovered a critical gap—European organizations lacked a data-driven, holistic approach to inclusion that aligned with business goals and legal compliance.
Seeing an urgent need for better insights and actionable strategies, she put her PhD on hold and built Diversalytics to help organizations move beyond compliance and take measurable DEI action that fosters truly inclusive workplaces.
Her expertise lies in utilizing data-driven approaches to identify and address unconscious biases, ensuring equal opportunities for all. Stela has collaborated with Volkswagen, Cloudflare, and the European Maritime Safety Agency, helping organizations drive impactful DEI initiatives.
As a passionate advocate for gender equality, Stela has delivered masterclasses and workshops at major conferences such as Web Summit (2019, 2022, 2023) and Collision (2020), speaking on unconscious bias, allyship, and inclusive leadership. She has also led community-building efforts as the former Lean In Portugal and Lean In Arabia Network Leader and continues to support women in tech across the world.
Stela is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and is currently learning sign language to further her commitment to accessibility and inclusion. Through Diversalytics, she continues to leverage analytics and technology to create measurable impact, guiding organizations in Spain and beyond toward equitable and inclusive workplaces.
