Marian Adejokun

Marian Adejokun is a passionate Early Years Educator, having worked in establishments such as nurseries and primary schools and achieved an MA in Early Years Education.
Using her platform to inspire and empower young children, Marian also shares her harrowing experience of Stevens Johnson Syndrome.
Now an Ambassador of the British Skin Foundation and an Ambassador of The Scar Free Foundation, Marian is also booked as a keynote speaker for a range of corporate events on topics such as youth development, careers, wellbeing, disabilities and anti-bullying.
After achieving a BA in Early Childhood Education and Teaching and an MA in Early Years Education, Marian began her career as a Sunday School Teachers Assistant at NLCC Croydon and a Teacher’s Assistant at St James The Great RC Primary School.
Today, she is the Founder of ReachOut2All CIC, an organisation committed to empowering and transforming the lives of youth’s from all backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures.
Providing a range of youth initiatives, educational tours, personal development workshops and networking opportunities, Marian is dedicated to seeing future generations prosper.
Back in 2011, Marian suffered a horrific allergic reaction to eye drops, spending a period of time in hospital and was diagnosed with Stevens Johnson Syndrome.
The allergic reaction to the eye drops made her skin peel from head to toe, having to be put in an induced coma for a month.
Overcoming the great adversity that faced her, Marian was able to complete her university degree and now shares her story as a keynote speaker.
Passionate to teach, facilitate and educate, Marian has since acted as a UN Women UK Official Delegate, a School Governor for Balgowan LCM, a Student Mentor for the UCL Institute of Education, a TheirWorld Ambassador, a BAME Mentor for the University of Brighton and the CEO of the Marian Adejokun Foundation.
Also a Representative of the British Association of Dermatologists and a Childcare Expo Ambassador, Marian is now a popular choice as a speaker for a range of corporate events.
Author of My Life Is Not My Own, Marian has also been interviewed by the Daily Mail and the Metro Newspaper and featured on BBC and ITV News.
She has previously spoken at the Atlanta Global Humanitarian Summit alongside the Luther King Jr family and various other international events across the USA, Dubai, Africa and Europe.
