Tamar Cohen is a vibrant laughter virtuoso, and her approach to laughter is infused with creativity, playfulness, and whimsy, bringing a joyful and unique flavor to every session.

Tamar is a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher and Certified Laughter Wellness Facilitator - a true Mirthologist. She was honored with the prestigious Laughter Ambassador Award in 2020 by Dr. Madan Kataria, the founder of Laughter Yoga.

Tamar is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of laughter and weaves laughter's holistic benefits into wellness, fostering positivity and social bonds.

Living her mantra, "LIVE MY JOY," she spreads wellness, happiness, and connection through her spirited and creative approach.  Tamar leads the “Laughter Nourishment” Online Laughter Club and hosts “Playful Pop-up Parties” like the Global Belly Laugh Day Celebration.  

She plays a pivotal role on the Laughter Wellness "Joyful Rebellion" Team.  She also offers Joyful Mindfulness Sessions, a unique practice she created to nurture mindfulness, enhance well-being, and foster inner peace.

Since 2016, Tamar has been guiding uplifting Laughter sessions that radiate her passion, energy, and imagination.  Tamar’s sessions make well-being accessible through fun, effective exercises that melt away stress, spark joy, and cultivate inner peace.  

Blending creativity with laughter’s natural healing benefits, she helps participants reconnect with their lighthearted, resilient selves.  Tamar’s journey began when she personally felt the profound impact of Laughter, inspiring her to share its joy with others.  

Laughter wasn’t a big part of her life growing up.  After a car accident in 2014 left her in chronic pain and isolation, joy felt even more distant. Searching for healing, serendipity and divine providence led her to discover Laughter Yoga, which began her Laughter Journey.  

This profoundly transformed her life and reconnected her with joy.

After experiencing laughter’s uplifting effects firsthand, Tamar became dedicated to sharing its magic through vibrant, energizing sessions that reduce stress, promote holistic well-being, and bring more joy into everyday life.  

By choosing to laugh, Tamar discovered a newfound sense of joy, connection, and inner strength.  Laughter not only lifted her spirits in the moment but also transformed her overall well-being, making her more present, peaceful, and resilient.

Through Laughter Practices and Joyful Mindfulness, Tamar helps others rediscover their inner light, embrace joyfulness and cultivate resilience—one laugh at a time.
