Book IWD Speaker: Jodi Bondi Norgaard

Author & advocate on women’s leadership, purpose-driven branding, entrepreneurship & challenging stereotypes to drive equality & innovation

Jodi Bondi Norgaard is an author, entrepreneur, and advocate for gender equality, best known as the founder of Go! Go! Sports Girls and author of  More Than a Doll: How Creating a Sports Doll Turned into a Fight to End Gender Stereotypes (Post Hill Press, 2025). She is a thought leader in purpose-driven business, authentic marketing, and women’s leadership, using her platform to empower women and girls to challenge stereotypes and rise with confidence.

Jodi’s journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to create a sports doll that inspired girls to be strong, smart, and adventurous. Despite being told “girls want fashion dolls,” she persevered—ultimately launching her brand in Walmart stores. Her story demonstrates how courage, persistence, and values-based entrepreneurship can drive both business success and social change.

As a keynote speaker, Jodi connects deeply with audiences through storytelling, actionable insights, and humor. She challenges outdated norms and inspires women to use their voices to lead, innovate, and collaborate. Her sessions are both motivational and practical, offering frameworks for creating inclusive brands, mentoring with intention, and driving meaningful impact within organizations and communities.

Jodi’s presentations are ideal for International Women’s Day events, leadership conferences, and corporate women’s networks. Attendees walk away with tangible tools to:

Build confidence and lead with authenticity and purpose

Challenge stereotypes and bias in professional and personal environments

Align mission and marketing to amplify positive change

Support and elevate other women through collaboration and mentorship

In addition to her entrepreneurial achievements, Jodi has collaborated with the White House Gender Policy Council under the Biden administration, served as a mentor and guest lecturer at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and spoken to organizations including Hasbro, Synchrony Financial, Vivo, and the League of Women Voters. A resident of the Chicago area, she continues to champion equality and empowerment locally and globally.
