Book IWD Speaker: Camilla Thompson

Author & executive coach helping women restore energy, regulate stress & sustain high performance without burning out their health

Camilla Thompson is an author, executive coach (ICF PCC), nationally recognised nutritionist and healthspan strategist who teaches women how to do hard things sustainably—without burning out.

Camilla believes all women are high performing. Whether in leadership, business, family or community, women are constantly juggling invisible loads, multitasking, caregiving and emotional labour alongside professional responsibilities. This cumulative pressure shows up in our biology—it is no coincidence that approximately 80% of people living with autoimmune disease are women.

As founder of BioHackMe and author of Australia’s first biohacking book published by Wiley, Camilla has spent nearly a decade working with executives and leadership teams where performance is non-negotiable, while also translating this work into practical tools for everyday women navigating full lives. Her work bridges ambition with sustainability.

While resilience is often framed as mindset alone, Camilla’s work reveals the deeper foundation: biology. Drawing on her own post-traumatic growth following a PTSD diagnosis, she makes the science of stress, energy, sleep, hormonal health and nervous system regulation accessible and empowering. Her keynotes explore what actually breaks under pressure—and how capacity can be rebuilt safely and sustainably.

Through her signature keynote, We Can Do Hard Things, Camilla unpacks why traditional wellness advice often fails women, how chronic stress impacts female physiology differently, and the targeted interventions that restore real resilience without sacrificing health. Audiences leave with practical, science-backed tools to regulate overwhelm, optimise energy, strengthen stress tolerance and sustain high performance—at work and at home.

A sought-after media expert appearing on Sunrise, The Morning Show, The Sydney Morning Herald, CEO Magazine and Daily Mail, Camilla brings credibility, warmth and real-world application to every stage
